Enhance your Reload Technique

The truth is, the likelihood of needing to reload your handgun in a defensive encounter is infinitesimal.  However, the issue I take with those who promote ignoring this skill is that, if you shoot, you need to be reloading often anyway.  Why would you not do so in a manner that builds proficiency for a worst case scenario?  Also, if you partake in any action shooting sports, your reload speed factors greatly into your overall performance.  Reloading the gun is simply an integral part of being a competent handgunner.  

I find that only high-level practitioners truly have a predictable and fast reload.  And, reloading from concealment adds another layer of difficulty, just as it does to the draw stroke.  In the video below I address the common issues I see with most shooters pertaining to their reload technique.  I demonstrate the process necessary to reload from concealment not only quickly, but consistently and efficiently.  Check it out:
