Salvatore is a firearms instructor, IDPA shooter, and a contributing author for USA Carry, Concealed Nation, Ammoland, The Truth About Guns, and his own blog, Reflex Handgun. He is a life-long shooter and concealed carrier who strives to serve as a conduit of reliable information to the new armed citizens entering the community each day. Salvatore has trained with many of the best firearms and self-defense instructors in the business, including Greg Ellifritz, Karl Rehn, Spencer Keepers, Steve Fisher, Kelly McCann, Lone Star Medics, Daryl Bolke, Green Ops, John Murphy, William Aprill, and many others.
