The large-scale deportation of illegal aliens has received an inevitable backlash. A strong majority of American citizens support deporting illegals, especially those with criminal records, and these offenders are the current focus of the effort. However, certain factions vehemently oppose deporting this criminal element as unmitigated, illegal, immigration furthers their political aspirations.
Over a week prior to this writing I uploaded a video urging caution regarding this coming backlash that will, likely, turn violent. Sure enough, over the weekend that followed, mass demonstrations in opposition to this effort erupted in several cities. There will certainly be more to follow.
