The Trump Administration has designated the narcotics cartels in Mexico as terrorist organizations. While this gives the Federal Government more ability to use force against these groups, and the need to do so seems inevitable at this point, we are likely to see an escalation in retaliatory violence here in the Continental United States. There are tens of thousands of cartel members, and those who work in league with them, within our boarders. These individuals are exceedingly dangerous and may escalate violence against the populous.
