Rising Derangement

I fear that in 2025 we are going to witness an eventful summer.  The left will be pulling out all the stops because “Orange Man Bad” grips their every thought.  Further, the Palestinian cause is fueling leftist extremism.  And, if you think it is only the left doing crazy things (it is certainly mostly them at the moment) there is a rise in far-right anarchist group activity.  Nice!  All the freaks are here to play! 

A resurgence in far-right extremism, the likes of what brought us the Oklahoma City Bombing and other events, is certainly nothing we need right now, but may be on the horizon.  While idiots who don’t know what they are talking about accuse everyone who disagrees with them as being “fascist,” for those with a clue, unlike European “far right,” which is fascist, American “Far Right” has always been anarchist, not fascist.  This mentality leads to a propensity for violence against government overreach, real or perceived.  While this is a form of fanaticism that I think we will see re-emerge, for now, the radical left is the clear and present danger.  However, be aware that far-right anarchist groups are on the move. 

Current to this writing, there was an attack on a Jewish organized event in Boulder, Colorado, in which a deranged lunatic set six people on fire with Molotov cocktails and an improvised flame thrower (according to still early reports) as he screamed, “free Palestine.”  For extremists, freeing Palestine is not about the wellbeing of the currently besieged Palestinians; rather, it is their newest tool to use in an attempt to destabilize Western Civilization.  This attack comes less than two weeks after two Jewish embassy workers were murdered in Washington DC. 

Meanwhile, the Tesla burning continues, as does an uptick in violent church attacks.  There is also a significant uptick in vandalization of synagogues and mosques.  There was also a bombing of a fertility clinic just recently, conducted by an antinatalist.  You read that right.  What is antinatalism?  It is a philosophy that assigns a negative value to birth, arguing that procreation is morally wrong.  WTF, is this clown world?  No, this is the United States in 2025. 

We have not even waded into the likelihood of a mass-scale, multi-location, terror attack that seems likely on the horizon thanks to the botched Afghanistan withdrawal and wide-open boarders of the past administration.  Nor have we discussed the fact that hyper-violent narco cartels are interwoven into communities throughout the nation, also greatly thanks to those wide-open boarders.  So, things are looking broken at the moment.

However, before I come off as a “sky is falling” type, I remind the reader that even though average street crime is significantly higher than it was in 2019 (Covid and the summer of love ended the almost 30 years of declining crime rates) it is still lower than the peak year of 1993.  However, what is concerning is the increase in the afore mentioned derangement.  Mental health is, obviously, bottoming out, and radical leftist causes, in particular, are leading to increased, deranged, activism.  There is a significant portion of the population that applauds violent actions against anyone they don’t like or see as an “oppressor,” just look at the deification of Luigi Mangione, the sicko who murdered a healthcare CEO.  Violence becomes a spiral when it is viewed as “righteous violence” for a cause.  We now face a shockingly large percentage of the population that is ok with violence used against those they disagree with. 

Now is the time to be ever vigilant as to what is happening around you.  Be aware of what events are planned around your home and place of work.  Be aware what is happening in places that you must travel to.  Urban areas that are politically blue (almost all urban areas) are ground zero for this far-left extremism right now.  Don’t do things that make you stand out from the crowd in these places.  Leave the MAGA caps at home.  Yes, it is your right, but I urge the reader to consider their safety over their freedom of expression at the moment.  People also have the right to wear LBGTQ whatever shirts as well, but I would urge the reader to not wear that stuff in small town, rural America.  Why would you draw attention to yourself in such a way when the political divide is so high in the nation?  The gray man principle should always be considered, and the politics of a vicinity plays into this. 

Now is also the time to be armed, all the time, always, and to avoid going to the places that disarm you.  And, armed or not, avoid trouble at all times possible.  Do not be drawn into attending demonstrations out of curiosity.  Avoid scenes that are likely to become confrontational.  Derangement is afoot, and the prepared citizen should take precautions.
