Well, there was a Jihadi terror attack in Australia, on a Hanukkah party, which took the lives of 16 people. It was a mass shooting. How could that be? Afterall, Australia has some of the strictest gun control in the world and mass shootings can’t happen there, right? Assault weapons were not even used, so how could anyone be dead, right? So, let this be a reminder that the greatest enemy is not even Jihadi terrorism, but it is leftist politicians who wish to disarm you. That is the great villain of our time, and don’t forget it. When you are disarmed, only criminals and terrorists will be armed. Oh, and of course, the government will also be armed. Thus, the goal of gun control. Understand that well, fellow Americans.
Now, onto what happened: a father and son duo of Islamists shot the place up, and they had explosives in their vehicle, that they, fortunately, never deployed. Maybe Australia needs to make guns and bombs illigaler. That should do it. Que the leftist commies starting in with that idea in 3, 2, 1….
Thanks to Australia’s leftists who run the country and the fools who vote for them, a Good Samaritan had only his bear hands to try and strop the attack. The hero of the day is a guy named Ahmed el Ahmed, who tackled and disarmed one of the gunmen, getting shot in the process, but surviving. (Ahmed el Ahmed is probably a Muslim, but obviously not an Islamist, two very different things, as should be evident). So, what is to come?
Unfortunately, thanks to the leftists who hate the culture that gave them everything, I think there might be more Islamists in the west than in the actual middle east. Afterall, many countries in the middle east, that are predominantly Muslim countries, tend to put their Islamists in prison and throw away the key. It is only in the west where leftists import Islamists, wholesale, and then encourage them to not assimilate into the culture that gave them refuge. So, the number of Jihadis we have among us are legion.
I have passed along the warnings from intelligence people in the know about a looming 9/11 2.0 attack. I am convinced it is a matter of when, not if. I hope that will not happen, but there are some very trustworthy people warning of this, and the sheer number of bad actors who have infiltrated our borders in the past several years sets us up for it. Even if we don’t see a mass-scale attack, we will continue to see the lone wolf, or like in this case, multiple lone wolves, attacks transpiring.
In the United States our Muslim population that has been here multi-generations integrates far better than in Europe. Yes, there are hotbeds of Islamism found in Dearborn and Minneapolis, but even this has been driven by the recent influx of third-world ingrates courtesy of the Obama and Biden administration. While there have been a number of lone wolf attacks perpetrated by Muslim citizens in the guise of terrorism on behalf of ISIS and other terror groups, the stats are clear: the American Muslim population has not over-represented in mass killer attacks compared to other demographics, so don’t hassle the Egyptian guy who owns the gas station near you, or the guy working behind the counter of the falafel shop.
HOWEVER, the ongoing attacks we will face, be it large-scale and coordinated, or lone/multi wolf, will be primarily perpetrated by these foreign actors that have infiltrated recently. The Afghan who attacked the National Guard soldiers in DC is an example of this. 9/11 was, of course, committed by foreign actors, and we are now flooded with foreign Islamists who want to wage war against the West.
As we see more such attacks land on CONUS, even if it remains just a single, or several, lone wolves working together, expect them to be more heavily armed, and better trained, then what we saw in Australia. Also, expect these events to happen in gun free, Democrat controlled criminal-empowerment zones, as these terrorists want high body counts, not a gunfight.
Now is the time to be carrying a serious fighting handgun, everywhere. A good shooter with a good handgun and the balls to use it could have made short work of the two monsters at Bondi beach. Of course, we will likely see armored and better armed adversaries here, but do not underestimate the capability of good tactics and a handgun. Officer Gregory Stevens killed two body-armor wearing, rifle-wielding, terrorists in Texas with only his handgun, when they attacked the Curtis Culwell Center during an event. It can be done.
Obviously, a large-scale, coordinated, attack will be a whole different animal. We must prepare for both. A coordinated Mumbai style attack that hits multiple cities at once will be a disaster of immense magnitude. If you find yourself on the X when such a thing kicks off, the priority must be getting out of the danger zone as quickly as possible. Such a thing is beyond the scope of what a single armed citizen with a handgun can repel. However, the lone wolf attack, even with a couple of adversaries, is an event that can be stopped by an armed citizen on location, and it has been done, numerous times. Carry a capable handgun and at least one reload at all times. Stay alert, be up on your medical training.
This is our reality, thanks to the nefarious, seditious leadership that plagues the Western world. Prepare accordingly.
