Our nation has a history of social breakdown leading to sweeping crime and lawlessness. The Los Angeles Riots in 1992 saw the eruption of violence following a particular police action, and the city pulled its law enforcement back and allowed the rioters free reign for a long period of time, resulting in the death of 63 people. The intentional march towards lawlessness in the United States started, in earnest, with the Ferguson Effect in the wake of the shooting of Michael Brown in 2014. Michael Brown was an enormous, powerful, thug who attempted to take a police officer’s gun from him, and got justifiably killed for his efforts. Just minutes prior to this event, the upstanding Mr. Brown committed a strong-arm robbery at a gas station.
In the wake of this event, where the only legitimate victims were the police officer who had to fight for his life, as well as the store clerk who was pushed around and intimidated by the thug, the leftist media seized the opportunity to destabilize society through their perpetual hoax of systemic racism. They showed photos of the wonder boy, in his youth, with a smile on his face. None of the media outlets showed the video of him brutalizing the store clerk as a humongous 18 year old. They claimed that he was an innocent child, killed for the crime of being of a particular skin color. Those stupid enough to believe the hoax from the beginning remain dedicated to this propaganda. It seems the same feeble mind that leads one to not question the narrative also leads one to never educate themselves on facts even long afterwards.
Then, in 2020, the political left was handed a gift in the killing of George Floyd. The cop who killed him worked for a democrat police chief under a democrat mayor, in a city that votes over eighty percent democrat, but, nevertheless, the narrative became one of conservative, white, America oppressing minorities with violent, systematic, discrimination. Just as in the Michael Brown incident, facts were of no consequence. The one fact that was in place here, though, was that the cop was incompetent or sinister, or both, and he handled the situation improperly, at best, or committed murder, at worst. Regardless, those who wish to destabilize society latched onto the incident to promote the destruction of law enforcement due to the actions of one bad cop. Agenda, perhaps?
Now, here we are. Law enforcement recruiting is at an all-time low, especially in liberal cities. The same fools who desperately want to disarm their fellow law-abiding citizens and leave them defenseless also want to get rid of police while, simultaneously, releasing violent thugs onto the streets. It seems clear that such a political ideology is, literally, a suicide pact.
Why are they doing this? Because, they want things to get bad enough so that the lemmings will clamor for the government to step in and finally “do something” and give the politicians and the elites who support them ever more power. Idiots who vote to disarm themselves would never consider ensuring their own security, so they will, eventually, demand that the government take the bull by the horns to protect them from their own stupid policies, no matter how much liberty they give up in the process.
How much worse does it have to become? Well, the elitists who support defunding the police have not been mugged, personally, in their nice, gentrified, neighborhood. Getting mugged is for the little guy. Once the gated communities get over-run, the lemmings will wake from their stupor and demand action. Of course, the gated community elitists will also have the means to hire their own personal security, so they still won’t be terribly inconvenienced. Oh, what’s that, you can’t afford to hire your own security? You own guns? How dare you, you backwards, bigots, who threaten “democracy” (who knew!).
Its all by design. Your friends or family members that supports defunding police and letting repeat felons loose are morons, but the intentional destruction of our society and nation is fostered by the elites that wish chaos upon society so that they can exact even more influence.
